Emily is the Cowlitz County Assessor, bringing more than 18 years of dedicated public service to the office. She was first elected in 2019 after building deep institutional knowledge through roles from recordings to residential appraiser. Her career reflects a strong commitment to accuracy, efficiency and transparent local government, with a particular focus on continuous improvement and service to taxpayers.
Emily holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Organizational Leadership from George Fox University and an Associates degree in Business Management from Lower Columbia College. As Assessor, she emphasizes community outreach, staff development, and responsible stewardship of public resources while ensuring fair and equitable property valuation across Cowlitz County.
