About Us

The PACS User Conference is hosted by Washington State Assessors' Offices to facilitate knowledge sharing, promote best practices, and foster a collaborative community of PACS users. By working together, we can better navigate technical challenges and build a stronger network of expertise across our offices. By uniting our collective expertise, we navigate the complexities of modern assessment software to ensure accuracy, transparency, and efficiency for the taxpayers of Washington.

The conference was established in 2023. Our inaugural event was held in Kennewick (Benton County) in 2024, marking the beginning of a new era of cross-county technical collaboration.

Statewide Perspective

We believe that every county has something to teach. To make the conference accessible and to highlight the diverse geographical and technical landscapes of Washington, the PACS User Conference moves to a new host county each year. This allows us to see "boots on the ground" how different offices manage their unique challenges.
